Uncharted Coming to Playstation 4

November 15, 2013

With work finished on The Last Of Us, Naughty Dog have announced their next big project, confirmed to be hitting the Playstation4, a new entry in the Uncharted series.

The announcement was revealed as part of the PS4 All Access event Sony held, where we were treated to a brief 30 second trailer comprised of CG maps and voice over. No hints at a story or a date were announced. It was the biggest announcement of the show, which had plenty of minor announcements throughout. The first single player DLC for the Last of Us was revealed – known as “Left Behind”, which sees you play as Ellie in events before the start of the main story. Hideo Kojima’s much teased MGSV announcement turned out to be Playstation exclusive DLC – which features a “Classic Snake” skin (think MGS1-era Snake, blocky graphics and all), and an exclusive mission called “Deja Vu”.

Bungie also revealed that their upcoming Destiny will see the beta launch first on PS3 and PS4, while the previously Ouya-exclusive multiplayer game Towerfall was confirmed to be hitting the PS4 at some point in the near future. Future announcements are expected to be made at the Spike Video Game Awards, which occur in a few weeks.
