New Game Plus At PAX Australia 2014

Soon, gamers from Australia and all around the world descend onto the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the second PAX Australia expo! And of course, New Game Plus will be there in force.

We’ll be walking around the show floor, playing way too much Johann Sebastian Joust, and appearing on a number of panels!

Kirsty will be hosting Iron Chef Cosplay (Friday 10:00pm, Wombat Theatre) and challenging two teams of cosplayers to construct a costume from a box of unknown materials. The panel will feature Iron Chef Sparkles (Aly from ‘Ali and K’), Iron Chef MDF (K from ‘Ali and K’), Iron Chef Ruffles (Siera from ClamWings Cosplay) and Iron Chef Bondo (Andrew Cameron of Andrew Cameron Cosplay). Whose seams will rein supreme?!

Super Ultra Fighting Game Community Panel EX (Saturday 8:00pm, Kookaburra Theatre) brings together representatives from all corners of the Australian FGC, including Henry Sham (OzHadou) Daniel Chlebowczyk (CouchWarriors), Anthony “Felix” Mallon (Melbourne FGC), Attila Baranay (Smash Bros. community) and our very own stream monster Jordan, to talk all things fighting: The games, the community, the tournaments and more!

And last, but most certainly not least, your Quiz Master Donald is back with The Ultimate Industry Quiz Showdown: 2RIVIA 2FURIOUS (Saturday 9:30pm, Wombat Theatre)! Join Paul Houlihan (The Fourth Player), James Kozanecki (Surprise Attack), Daniel Visser (Wicked Witch Software), Alice Clarke (Planeswalker Plus, Herald Sun) and more as they prove who’s the smartest gamer in the room. Come for the trivia, stay for the opportunity to join in and win prizes!
