Five Nights At Freddy’s Film In The Works

April 8, 2015

(In brief) Warner Bros. has obtained the rights to make a movie based on the horror series Five Nights At Freddy’s, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is set to be produced by Roy Lee, who was producer on the American adaptations of The Ring and Run All Night, as well as Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg. Five Nights at Freddy’s creator Scott Cawthon said of the deal, “The story really lends itself to being a movie and it taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to.” A writer has yet to be attached to the film.
