Australian Game Developer Awards Nominees Announced
October 15, 2014
The Game Developers’ Association of Australia has announced the nominees of the Australian Game Developer Awards. Powerhoof Studios’ dungeon-crawler Crawl has lead the way with five nominations, including Game of the Year. Kumobius and Loveshack Entertainment each received four nominations for their games Duet and Framed.
“This year’s submissions demonstrate that Australian developers are innovating across the board,” said Simon Joslin, Creative Director of The Voxel Agents and member of the judging committee, “From adventurous storytelling to ideas so simple you wonder how you didn’t come up with them. What was consistent across the submissions was that they were made by teams with a clear vision of a unique and satisfying player experience, and executed at a truly world class level.”
